FAQ

What are the UK ARU / SCO19 fitness requirements?

The UK ARU / SCO19 standard is scored per event — Bleep test (with armour vest ~7 kg), Vested 1-mile run (~7 kg), Casualty drag (75 kg dummy, 15 m), Pull-ups and more — across strength, engine and work capacity. See the table above for the pass / good / excellent / elite tiers.

How do I train for the UK ARU / SCO19 standard?

Build a deep aerobic base, train load carriage and rucking, and keep your strength high relative to bodyweight. Test against the standard regularly and attack your weakest event first.
